NAACP Image Awards Nominees

Marvin Winans, Jill Scott, & Chrisette Michelle are amongst the nominees of the 2008 NAACP Image Awards. The ceremony will be broadcast live on February 14th on FOX networks. The night's theme is 'Stand Up and Be Counted', encouraging people to be mindful and effective during the current political, economic, and global civil rights climate. Musical genius Stevie Wonder will receive the prestigious Hall of Fame Award.

Columbia also distributed Prince's 2005 takeover comeback Musicology, which won 3 Grammys in 2005. This man is a master hustler and a template for independent music success.
